Terms of Service

These Terms govern the Bonvo Ski mobile app, bonvo.ski, business.bonvo.ski and related services. The provider is Bonvo Consulting Korlátolt Felelősségű Társaság, registered at 4440 Tiszavasvári, Gombás András utca 22/C, Hungary, company registration number 15-09-094812, tax number 33087458-2-15.

1. Eligibility and accounts

Children may use Bonvo Ski with permission and appropriate supervision from a parent or legal guardian, especially for accounts, purchases, content and location sharing.

• A parent or guardian is responsible for approving and supervising a child’s account, purchases, content, groups and location sharing.
• Account details must be accurate and credentials kept secure.
• Users may not impersonate, harass, unlawfully track or expose personal information about another person.
• Accounts and associated content can be deleted through available settings or by contacting Bonvo.

2. Availability and product status

Bonvo Ski is free to download. Some advanced and offline features may require Bonvo Ski Premium. Availability can vary by platform, release and region.

Bonvo Ski is currently available on iOS. Android is planned for the 2026/27 ski season; no release date is promised. Beta features may change. Roadmap and Concept items are not current features, release commitments or contractual promises.

3. Bonvo Ski Premium

• The price, interval, trial, included features and regional availability shown before purchase control over general marketing copy.
• App Store subscriptions may renew automatically until cancelled in Apple account settings.
• Apple processes App Store payments and refund requests; mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
• Partner-funded or discounted access, if offered, may have eligibility and expiry terms shown when issued.

4. Maps, offline use and groups

Downloaded maps, resort data, the user's GPS position and run recording can work without mobile service. Live group positions require a connection; offline, the last synchronized position may remain visible until connectivity returns.

• Offline use requires a successful advance download, sufficient storage and sometimes renewal after updates.
• Weather, live status, group updates, purchases and other server-backed features require connectivity.
• Bonvo Ski uses location while the map is in use or while the user has started a ski run. Background location is used only to keep an active run and its optional live location continuous when the screen is locked or the app is not in the foreground.
• Location sharing is optional, may be stopped, and is not an emergency, rescue or child-monitoring service.

5. Safe use

• Terrain, weather, closures, signs and ski-patrol instructions always take priority.
• Bonvo data may be incomplete, delayed or inaccurate and does not replace official resort, avalanche, rescue, training or safety information.
• Do not rely on Bonvo Ski to decide whether off-piste, backcountry or closed terrain is safe.

6. Content and intellectual property

Users retain ownership of submitted content and grant Bonvo a non-exclusive licence to host, process and display it only as needed for the selected feature. Users must have the necessary rights and must not submit illegal, unsafe, infringing or abusive content. Optional AI output may be inaccurate and must be reviewed before use.

Bonvo owns or licenses its software, brand and editorial content. Map data may include OpenStreetMap contributors’ data under the ODbL and other licensed sources; required attribution must be preserved.

7. Insurance

Insurance integration is a partner concept, not a currently available insurance product, coverage promise or brokerage service.

The current service is not an insurance quote, recommendation, policy, coverage guarantee, claim decision or emergency-assistance service. Any future regulated journey requires separate partner terms and legal approval.

8. Service changes and responsibility

We may modify, suspend or discontinue features for security, legal, operational or product reasons. This does not remove rights already acquired under mandatory consumer law. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

9. Law and contact

Hungarian law applies without depriving consumers of mandatory protection in their country of residence. Jurisdiction follows applicable consumer and procedural law.
